Shawn’s writing focuses on up-and-coming prospects as well as the future of the sport at large.  He is known for his fresh content and unique perspectives.  He currently writes for Cageside Press.

Seventeen years of experience watching and studying mixed martial arts underlies his relatively recent appearance on the MMA news scene.  He’s got an extensive network of fighters and promotional organizations at all levels, from amateur to pro rankings.  In his two years on the media scene, he’s completed more than 300 interviews and been cage side press at ten events and counting. 

Canadian journalist James Lynch has over 10 years of experience covering MMA news.  He’s worked with periodicals such as Sportsnet, FloCombat, and Sherdog, and he’s well-suited to his current position as Senior MMA News Editor for theScore. He has interviewed many household names such as Connor McGregor, Daniel Cormier, George St. Pierre, and Dana White.
 

Palestinian-Moroccan journalist Farah Hannoun has been covering MMA for six years from her home base in Egypt. She's the author behind @UFCnewsalerts on Instagram, with nearly 200,000 followers.  In 2019, she joined the team of writers at MMA Junkie.  Her social media and journalistic experience has allowed her to build an extensive network, and she is well-known throughout the MMA community. 

 Kyle Carroll is one of the elite writers for MyMMANews.com.  His articles have been featured on the site since its launch in 2014, covering both local and national MMA news as well as NCAA wrestling.  Today, he commentates for Cage Wars Promotions and Jack Hammer Promotions in addition to hosting his own podcast, Carroll’s Corner MMA.
